MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – CHAUVET®, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting, announced today 15 CHAUVET® fixtures proudly took the stage during the 26th annual International Dance Music Awards, held Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Dolce in Miami Beach, Fla. The event, hosted by Daniel Glass, owner of Glassnote Entertainment Group, featured performances by Cedric Gervais & Mya, Chris Willis, Dev & The Cataracs, Emii, Grace, Wynter Gordon and Zakes. CHAUVET® served as a sponsor for IDMA as well as the 26th annual Winter Music Conference.

 

Seven Legend™ 6500 LED moving heads lined the back of the stage as well as the DJ booth. Illuminating the DJ booth were three COLORstrip™ linear LED wash lights. Six COLORado™ 2 static LED wash lights were strategically placed to uplight the clear columns and fabric backdrops on either side of the stage. Two COLORdash™ PAR LED wash lights were positioned under the podium, illuminating the projection surfaces that ensconced it.

The crowd went wild for winners Chris Willis and Armin Van Buuren as well as Duck Sauce—just to name a few.
