Steal the Scenery is a four-member band located in San Diego, Calif. who coined the new style “dubrock.” They write songs that mean something to them while maintaining a vibrant and catchy style that makes people want to dance. Steal the Scenery only uses CHAUVET® DJ  lighting and has 11 fixtures in their setup. Read on and get to know more about this up-and-coming band who is sharing their talent with the world.

1. How did you come up with the name of your band?
Steal the Scenery came from the idea of stealing whatever was the hottest scene at
that moment. For example, we mirrored one of our first photo shoots after “Gossip
Girl,” complete with models and everything.

2. How many band members are there?
Steal the Scenery is comprised of four members: Bobby Frausto (vocals), Joseph Agustin (bass and DJ), Gilbert Salcido (guitar) and Danny Salcido (drums).

3. What type of music do you play and where do you typically perform?
We play pop music infused with dubstep, electronic and rock. We perform all over the United States, but our shows primarily take place in San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tucson.

4. What CHAUVET® fixtures are included in your setup?
Our lighting setup includes five LED Pinspot 360 and two COLORstrip, two COLORpalette and two LEDsplash 86B wash lights.

5. Is your lighting rig permanently installed somewhere or do you set them up for each show?
Our lights are permanently secured to truss and we set it up prior to every show. Including a lighting check, it typically takes us 30 minutes to set up and 10 minutes to break down.
