Every year during the DJ Expo, Promo Only hosts a phenomenal party where major talents rock the stage and the crowds go wild. For the first time in the history, a lighting manufacturer co-hosted the highly anticipated Promo Only Party — that manufacturer just happens to be yours truly! Together with Denon DJ, we hosted a great event at the House of Blues which featured renowned performers and drew a huge crowd.

Hopefully you were there and enjoyed the night as much as we did, but just in case, we’ll recap the night and highlight some of our favorite moments. Neon Hitch put on a jaw-dropping performance and her costume was fabulous (curious as to who designed that headpiece!). Crystal Waters was outstanding — though we’re undecided if it was her or her backup dancers that made the show. DJ Roonie G was awesome and (we’re convinced) is the only DJ who can get away with mixing Notorious BIG and the Muppets singing Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Jason Derulo hypnotized all the ladies in the crowd and made their hearts melt as he performed his hit song, “Whatcha Say.” Everyone stuck around for the grand finale which was well worth the wait. Headliner 50 Cent took the stage with Tony Yayo and Jeremih, and gave us the performance of a lifetime. Whew! Can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store!
