It’s been quite a year for CHAUVET. In November, CHAUVET Professional’s popular blinder/wash the Nexus 4×4 won the prestigious Parnelli Award for Indispensable Technology in the lighting category. Now CHAUVET DJ has joined the fun by earning the 2013 MMR Dealer’s Choice Award as Lighting Line of the Year.
For Albert Chauvet, president of CHAUVET DJ, the award has special significance, because it is based on votes cast by dealers. “We have always viewed ourselves as being in a partnership with dealers, since we work together to grow the DJ market by serving our shared customers,” he said. “The fact that so many dealers voted for us to receive the Dealers’ Choice Award means that we have been a good partner to our dealers.”
Winning the award means that CHAUVET DJ has done an excellent job of pleasing end-users too, notes Chauvet. “Dealers are on the front line of interacting with customers,” he said. “If a product doesn’t meet expectations, they’re often the first ones to hear about it. By the same token, they’re also the ones who get the first high fives when a product is a big hit. So I feel this award shows that we’re doing a good job making our dealers’ customers happy too.”
Apparently, CHAUVET DJ has come in for a great many high fives in 2013 as DJs have enthusiastically embraced the company’s breakthrough products like the Intimidator Spot LED 350 and COREbar 4 COB LED wash system, which have emerged as runaway hits in the DJ market.
The 2013 MMR Dealers’ Choice Awards are the 21st annual edition of the prestigious honor, which is given out by MMR, a leading retail trade publication. “This is a well-established award,” said Chauvet. “We’re humbled and honored to receive it; and we thank our dealers and their DJ customers who made this possible.”
