Marburg, Germany — A great selection of CHAUVET DJ fixtures lights various landmarks in the charming town of Marburg, as part of Marburg b(u)y Night, a city initiative meant to bring a special holiday atmosphere to all residents, throughout the month of December. Now in its ninth year, the event highlights with color and light the distinctive character of modern or traditional buildings, of squares and bridges. There is also an interactive aspect to the project, as visitors can participate in lighting activities organized in front of the lecture hall and in playgrounds.

Sixteen Intimidator Spot 355Z IRC moving head lights color St. Elizabeth’s Church, one of the earliest purely Gothic edifices built in German-speaking areas, for a mesmerizing combination of modern and traditional. Rich, saturated colors bring a magical dimension to the interior of the cathedral, while gobo projections flood the ceiling above the altar for beautiful effects. St. Elizabeth’s Church was built by the Order of the Teutonic Knights in honor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, and was under construction from 1235 till 1340.

Five COLORband PiX IP battens were chosen to light the interior of the “Ernst von Hülsen Haus” Museum, built in memory of German politician Ernst von Hülsen.
