Mini Kinta IRC Delivers Maxi Punch With Mulit-Color LEDs Beams

June 2015

aurora1SUNRISE, Fla. – With 48 lenses and 4 high-power LED light sources packed into its ultra-compact (7.5 x 9.1 x 7.25 inch/191 x 241 x 184 mm) case, the Mini Kinta IRC unleashes an explosion of visual excitement that would be impressive for a derby effect twice its size.  Powerful and brilliant, this petite new party/club light from CHAUVET DJ produces a roomful of razor-sharp multicolor RGBW beams bright enough to punch through virtually any ambient lighting and fog; yet the unit itself barely registers on the scale, weighing a mere 3.4 pounds  (1.6 kg).

Might combined with mobility is what makes the Mini Kinta IRC perfect for DJs and traveling entertainers who want an easily portable LED beam effect that produces an astonishing output for its size. “The Mini Kinta IRC will fill up an entire room, floor to ceiling, with red, green, blue and white LED beams as light comes shining through its 48 lenses at a wide 114° beam angle,” said Allan Reiss, Senior Product Manager for CHAUVET DJ.

“Not only does its voluminous output surpass that of much larger derby effects,” added Reiss, “but the beams themselves are amazingly sharp and bright, dramatically cutting through other effects in the room. If you’re a mobile entertainer who wants a single effect that will produce a powerful, whole-room lightshow, but is easy to transport and operate, the Mini Kinta IRC is exactly what you’re looking for.”

aurora1Going beyond its brightness and huge number of beams, the Mini Kinta IRC features exciting built-in automated and sound-active programs that create mesmerizing visual effects. These programs can be easily triggered by users of all experience levels without DMX, either manually or via an optional CHAUVET DJ IRC-6 remote controller (sold separately), which provides convenient wireless operation from distances up to 30 feet (9 m).

Those who want more flexible programming options can use a DMX controller to run the Mini Kinta IRC, which has a 4 DMX-channel profile and includes 3-pin XLR connectors.  When in DMX mode, the unit’s motor speed can be controlled to match the mood at any event – for a perfectly “in sync” lightshow.

The Mini Kinta IRC derives its brightness from four 3-watt LED sources (1 red, 1 green, 1 blue, 1 white), each of which is rated at 50,000 hours for minimal maintenance requirements. Multiple units can be power-linked together (up to 29 units at 120V and 53 units at 230V), saving users the work and time required to run cables and extension cords.

Rugged and reliable, the Mini Kinta IRC is CE approved and features durable metal housing that makes it ideal for mobile use. The unit fits perfectly in CHAUVET DJ’s CHS-30 VIP Gear Bag, which although lightweight itself, provides extreme protection during transport, enhancing the mobility of the Mini Kinta IRC.
