CHAUVET DJ Sponsors Promo Only Party at House of Blues

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – For the second year in a row, CHAUVET® DJ, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting, hosted the year’s premiere event —the Promo Only Party at the House of Blues.

One of the most anticipated events surrounding The 2012 DJ Expo, the Promo Only Party featured another star-studded lineup with performances by Sean Paul, Breathe Carolina, Outasight, Taylor Dayne, Kat Graham, Shannon, JES, Speakers & NiRe AllDai, Julissa Veloz, Marcus Canty, Grace, DJ Larry D, DJ Scotty B, DJ Leony and DJ Slique. Additionally, CHAUVET® DJ sponsored the “DJ of the Year” competition held at the Trump Tahj Mahal.

As sponsors of The 2012 DJ Expo’s main stage, CHAUVET® DJ created a huge presence using the latest must-have DJ gear, including the new pyrotechnic-like Geyser™ RGB. Four of these units made a bold statement as they produced intense explosions of color, fog and light during performances. Serving as a backdrop, five pieces of TRUSST® warmed with Freedom™ Par wash lights anchored the stage with Q-Wash™ 260-LED moving heads and PiXPar™ 24 pixel-mapping fixtures mounted atop to provide colorful bursts of light.

CHAUVET® DJ sponsored two key seminars during the expo. The first seminar, delivered by DJ Mikey Mike, provided DJs with tips to increase their gross sales by $10,000 and featured a Nimbus™ demonstration. The second seminar, delivered by CHAUVET® DJ Product Manager, Allan Reiss, provided a tutorial on ShowXpress™ — the software that turns any computer or smartphone into a lighting console.
