For the second year in a row, Chauvet is the exclusive lighting sponsor of the arena. BPM 2013, which takes place September 14 – 16, is one of the world’s largest events dedicated to DJing, electronic music production and entertainment technology.

During the show, CHAUVET DJ and TRUSST will introduce essential gear specifically designed to meet the unique needs of mobile entertainers in an enormous, TRUSST-built stand. The innovative, low-profile SlimPAR Hex 3 IRC joins the popular SlimPAR series with 6-in-1 LED (RGBAW+UV) technology. Fitted with three, 9-watt LEDs, this wash light allows you to generate a broad spectrum of colors and achieve natural looking color temperatures. Also new to the series, SlimPAR Quad 3 IRC adds an ultra-compact wash light powered by three, quad-color LEDs (RGBA). Both lights feature remote control capability and a sit-flat housing design that hugs the floor and includes power and DMX outlets on the side of the unit.

Designed to warm triangular truss systems from most manufacturers, Wedge Tri is a triangle-shaped wash light with DMX and remote control capability. Powered by three, tri-color LEDs, the light fits perfectly inside the TRUSST Arch and Goal Post Kits and easily clamps to its 35mm truss using built-in M10 or M12 threaded rig points. For added flexibility, Wedge Tri also fits standard 50mm truss systems.

The Intimidator series of powerful moving heads and scanners expands with the addition of Intimidator Spot 100 IRC. Perfect for mobile applications, this remote-controllable moving head is a lightweight, DMX-capable fixture with separate color and gobo wheels to maximize lighting options and effects.

For impressive, custom presentations, TRUSST is increasing design options by adding curved truss sections to its collection of easy-to-use truss pieces and accessories. Connect multiple sections together to create circles, half circles, arches, serpentines and any other design you can conceive. Manufactured from lightweight, high-grade aluminum and crafted by SLV-certified welders, the curved truss sections are available in three sizes: 3-meter with a 90-degree arc, 2-meter with a 90-degree arc and 1.5 meter with a 180-degree arc.

Show attendees are invited to take part in an interactive lighting competition taking place at the Chauvet stand. To enter, participants simply stop by the stand and try their hand at simultaneously controlling lighting and music with the Nu Desine AlphaSphere — a new electronic musical instrument and controller.  Each day, three finalists will be selected to compete against each other for the grand prize — a CHAUVET DJ lighting package. Three grand prize winners, one per day, will be awarded free CHAUVET DJ gear to add to their setup.
