CHAUVET DJ once again leads the way in event lighting innovation, introducing a series of innovative and dynamic new products to revolutionize special event lighting. Wireless convenience, compact size and unique new effects lead the offerings that will be unveiled at this year’s DJ Expo at Harrah’s in Atlantic City August 13-15. DJ Expo attendees will experience a dazzling display of popular CHAUVET DJ products in the immersive special event-themed booth #619, and on the DJ Times Square main stage. Lighting debuts include three new additions to the Freedom family of battery-powered 100% wireless products including a never-before-seen centerpiece effect, a new, compact Intimidator moving head perfect for mobile entertainers and an inventive and exciting atmospheric sure to take event effects to new levels. A don’t-miss educational seminar and multiple chances to win free gear will also be a part of the CHAUVET DJ offerings at this year’s show.

Leading the way in new event lighting ingenuity is Freedom Centerpiece, an elegant 100% TRUE wireless, battery-operated uplight to highlight centerpiece event elements. CHAUVET DJ’s ground-breaking introductions continue with Freedom Cyc, a 100% TRUE wireless, battery-operated cyclorama light that blankets surfaces with a wide, even wash never before seen in a fixture of its size. Its unique lens design perfectly mixes the RGB + WW color spectrums. Freedom Cyc can be used on battery power or connected to electrical mains for even greater output. Freedom Cyc can also be controlled remotely and works in master/slave with other Freedom fixtures. The unit has multiple wireless control options via FlareCON, IRC-6 or DMX using a D-Fi transmitter. Quick access to the built-in color temperature presets eliminate programming time, and high-frequency LED dimming makes Freedom Cyc flicker free and perfect for video use. The third new Freedom introduction from CHAUVET DJ is Freedom Q1N, a battery-powered RGB+WW pin spot fixture with a built-in D-fi transceiver. Like the other Freedom debuts, Freedom Q1N is part of the Freedom ecosystem, and can be controlled remotely and programmed in sync with other Freedom products. This compact and powerful fixture features a narrow beam perfect for highlighting special event elements. Its magnetic base and small size mean effortless mounting, controlling, and transporting. Freedom Q1N is available in either black or white housing making it suitable for any event. The Freedom Q1N system includes 4 fixtures, a carry bag, multi-charger, and IRC-6 remote.

 

Special event creativity takes a giant leap forward with the introduction of Hurricane Bubble Haze, an atmospheric that takes party atmospherics to new levels. It’s a haze machine. It’s a bubble machine. It’s both at the same time! This multi-purpose atmospheric machine emits bubbles, haze or haze-filled bubbles and its always-ready technology lets the unit run continuously to keep the party going. CHAUVET DJ Presents “Lighting the Way to Profit” with Jeremy Brech, Tuesday, August 13 10am in Avalon Rooms 24-26. Sharing tips and tricks for using your current gear and the newest technology, Jeremy inspires event pros to design easy-to-produce lighting effects that create event exhilaration and transform powerful elegance into profit.
