New Products Prove Popular Despite Economic Slump

 As the winter NAMM Show 09 focused on surviving in these challenging economic times, value-based CHAUVET® generated quite the buzz. Bob Laino, CHAUVET®’s National Sales Manager, said the more than 85,000 attendees were looking for value, value, value and they found it at the CHAUVET® booth. “Overall, the buzz and excitement we generated was more than I’ve experienced in years past,” Laino said. “The overall concern was the cry and need for more value. And based on what we showed, I am confident we provided just that.” Laino points to the introduction of the 4BAR™ as the perfect product for these tight times.  The budget-minded 4BAR™, at $399.99 MAP, comes packed with unexpected extras. The 15-channel DMX system includes four low-profile but powerful lights each containing 108 red, green and blue LEDs, a foot switch, an adjustable tripod, plus a packing bag and transportation case. “I can’t begin to tell you how many times dealers and end users were astounded at all the products they would get with this fixture,” he added. “Their only question was when could they buy it?” The 4BAR™ will be available in March and is only one example of CHAUVET®’s commitment to value-added innovative lights for DJs and clubs, production and architainment. CHAUVET® has converted traditional effect lighting into LED fixtures that are lighter, brighter and more environmentally friendly than their predecessors. The company has also come up with unique LED product lines.
